The Swampscott boys soccer team got a goal from James Beane as time expired to end the first half at Phillips Park against Lynn English on Wednesday to tie the game at 1-1. In the second half, Erick Verdu scored with a little over seven minutes left on the clock in regulation to earn Swampscott a 2-1 win over the Bulldogs.Jefferson Fobellah had given English (3-7-1) its 1-0 lead early in the first half before Swampscott began its comeback.Classical 8, Winthrop 0At Manning Field, Yabesi Musema turned in a hat trick and Salvador Castro added two goals and an assist as the Rams (8-3-1, 6-0 NEC South) cruised to victory. Peabody then blew the game wide open with a five-goal barrage in the first 15 minutes of the second half.Colin Mahoney and Mike Chiappini each had hat tricks to pace the Peabody assault.
