LYNN _ A car crashed into a house on Salem Street late Wednesday night, according to Police Lt. Christopher Kelly.The car crashed into the home at 1165 Salem St., after it ran a stop sign on York Road, went across Casco Road, jumped the sidewalk, crashed through a fence, “and finally (went) into the home,” Kelly said.?A witness stated they saw a white male flee from the vehicle and run down York Road,” Kelly said this morning.No one inside the home was hurt, Kelly said.The incident is under investigation.Please read Friday’s Daily Item for complete coverage of the story.
