There will be no last-minute drama for the St. Mary’s boys soccer team in its efforts to clinch a state tournament spot. The Spartans got the job done with plenty of games left on the calendar this season.Ralph Bertrand scored twice while Helio Neto pitched his sixth shutout of the season as St. Mary’s rolled to a 6-0 win in Framingham over Marian, clinching a spot in the Division 3 North sectional and earning coach Mike D’Agostino his 50th career win.”I love how we’re playing right now,” D’Agostino said. “We’re on a roll and we had a lot of nice accomplishments (Monday).”This one was over by halftime as the Spartans (9-5) steamed to a 4-0 lead thanks to Bertrand’s two goals and single tallies from Mike Sonia and Christian Chavez. Dennis Bertocchi and eighth-grader Dan Hennessey added second-half goals.”We are starting to click as a team in the last few games,” D’Agostino said.Lynnfield 6, Amesbury 1At Amesbury, the Pioneers (10-2, 5-2 Cape Ann League/Small) continued to play well as Marco Addonizio had a hat trick to pace the offense. Connor Sullivan, Reese Van Putten and Blake Strader also added goals.Lynn Tech 5, Gr. Lawrence 0At Andover, the Tigers (8-1-3) just keep on rolling. Francisco Franco had two goals and two assists with Willain Kyi, Edwin Alas and Emerson Imul contributing one each. Jose Alas notched his fourth shutout. Tech will play Greater Lowell, which it tied earlier in the season, Wednesday at Manning Field.Salem 3, English 1At Bertram Field, the Witches qualified for the tournament with a 9-2-1 record. This was their third consecutive year making the postseason. Alex Carvajal and Esosa Okunmwendia supplied the offense for Salem with Daniel Collins (8 saves) in net for the win.English (3-8-1) had its lone goal from Jefferson Fobellah. Also playing well for the 9-2-2 Eagles were John Pereira and Joe Centofanti.Williams 2, Fenwick 1At Peabody, the Crusaders (7-3-2) saw this one slip away when Archbishop Williams scored the winning goal with 3:39 left. Ian White scored for Fenwick.”It was a very close game, but we couldn’t bury it today,” Fenwick coach Andrew Bub said.
