The St. Mary’s golf team closed its regular season by eking out a 128-127 win over Lowell Catholic at Meadow Creek GC in Dracut on Thursday.”They have a good team over there and are really getting better,” Spartans coach Jay Fiste said.Chris Price led St. Mary’s with 27 points while Sean MacBurnie had 24 and Justin Lappin added 21 points. Cam O’Neill had 20 with Sean Maher and Ryan Madden having 18 points each.Price, O’Neill, Madden, Lappin and MacBurnie will be back at Meadow Creek this morning for the CCL Open. No. 1 Goulos won both his matches going away (9-0, 8-1). Matt Correale won one of his matchups in impressive fashion (8-1). Peabody ended the year at 4-7.FIELD HOCKEYDanvers 6, Peabody 0At Danvers, Sara Potter had two goals and an assist and Seth Kamens added a goal and two assists as the Falcons (12-2-1) cruised to the win.
