The Golden Warriors held a 2-0 lead at the break and added their final goal on a second-half corner.”We knew what we were up against. Andover is having a great season and their team is very talented at every spot on the field,” said Danvers coach Jimmy Hinchion, who cited solid work by Corey Perrson at forward and midfield and Cate Raftery on defense.”We’ve had a rough stretch of late with three losses in our last four games, but we’ve played some quality teams. I’m hoping our difficult schedule has prepared us enough to now make a nice run in the tournament,” said Hinchion. The Falcons (10-5-0 overall) conclude their regular season Monday at Swampscott (4) and Thursday at home against Beverly (4).BOYS SOCCERPeabody 2, Billerica 0The Tanners (7-3 NEC North, 8-4 overall) scored single goals in each half and keeper Pat Ryan turned in a stellar 17-save performance in a solid non-league road decision of the Merrimack Valley Small’s first-place club.”Pat Ryan was a very busy man.
