Meanwhile, Revere goalie Tarik Maddruy turned back 12 shots for the shutout.The game’s lone goal came off the foot of Revere freshman standout Mohammed Kenawy in the 28th minute. Kendrick Simpson deposited a bouncing ball in the box into the upper half and coach Eric Robinson credited keeper Patrick Kennedy with a half-dozen quality saves. The Big Blue met a pre-season goal to qualify for tournament play, finishing 8-7-4.Lynnfield 6, Newburyport 1In Division 3 North first-round action on Sunday, No. 2 Lynnfield bounced its Cape Ann League counterparts. Steve Carangelo scored the first of his two goals to give the Pioneers an early 1-0 lead. The Clippers tied it and then Lynnfield goalie Nick Romano made a key save to turn the momentum. Goals by George Levantakis and Pat DeRosa gave the Pioneers a 3-1 lead at intermission and Carangelo, Marco Addonizio and James Hook scored in the second half.
