Congressman John F. Tierney is back on the North Shore this weekend, keeping busy with two weekend events for his constituents.Tonight, he will meet with area veterans and their families for a forum on local services, an update on the recent veterans’ job bill passed.Top officials, such as Coleman Nee, the secretary of the state’s department of veterans’ services, and Dr. Gregory Binus, the chief medical officer of the Bedford veterans’ affairs medical center, will answer questions.The forum starts at 6 p.m. at Holten Richmond Middle School, 55 Conant St., in Danvers.And tomorrow, the congressman will host a mortgage workshop in Beverly bringing together local homeowners and lenders with housing counselors and representatives from federal housing agencies.
