Dozens revisited their childhood this morning while roaming the halls of The Brickett Elementary School to celebrate a century of learning.Over cake and coffee, students who graduated from the Lynn mainstay, some more than 60 years ago, flicked through old photos and PTA logs while chatting with former teachers and students.”It is astonishing to be back,” said Charles Adey, class of ’49.The school was founded in 1911 by Leonard Paul Brickett, whose picture still hangs on the main wall. He was represented by some of his heirs, including his great-granddaughter who drove down from New Hampshire to be part of the special day.For coverage of the event, read Monday’s Daily Item.Amber Parcher can be reached at [email protected]
