The 66th annual Item All-Star Football Team

Today, we present the 25 best football players on the North Shore: the 66th annual Item Football All-Star Team.Click here for a photo gallery of the 25 Item All-Stars plus a color PDF image of the page.This year’s team features 10 players from Lynn schools:?three each from Northeastern Conference/Cape Ann League Tier 1 champion English, St. Mary’s and Tech and one from Classical. In addition, two of this year’s all-stars played for NEC/CAL Tier 2 champion Marblehead.There are three returnees from last year’s team – St. Mary’s Todd Collier, Lynn Tech’s Kennedy Gomes, and Swampscott’s Mike Walsh.The Item All-Stars are selected by the Item sports staff with input from coaches of teams covered by The Item.The team will be honored at the Item All-Star Dinner Monday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilltop Steakhouse on Route 1 South, Saugus.Tickets can be purchased through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Item Building, 38 Exchange St., Lynn.
