The Peabody swimming team had three state qualifying relay times at English’s expense, as Peabody defeated English 110 1/2-70.1/2 at Tech Tuesday night.The Tanner foursome of John Slate-Romano, Jason Budde, Zack Melville and Alex Guay qualified for states in the 200 free relay (1:33.47). Christine Shea, Julie Shea, Meghan Lurvey, and Holly Smith qualified for states in the 200 medley relay (2:13.50) and 400 free (4:28). Michelle Manfra took first in diving for Peabody (1-1). English’s Mike Bruno won the 200 free (2:10.59) and took second in the 100 butterfly (1:14.89). Jesse Freeman won the 100 free (1:05.93). Dana Stevens was second in the 50 free (29.44) and Matt Demirs was second in diving.
