SAUGUS – The Saugus Board of Selectmen voted unanimously Tuesday night to appoint Town Counsel John Vasapolli as temporary Town Manager effective Friday.?Appointing John Vasapolli seemed to be the natural choice,” said Selectmen Chairman Scott Crabtree Wednesday. “He has the experience and has been Town Counsel for 30 years.”Crabtree also announced that current Town Manager Andrew Bisignani will be taking his accumulated vacation time starting Friday until Jan. 31.Read the complete story in Thursday’s Daily Item.
