SAUGUS – The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously Tuesday night to remove the remaining Library Board of Trustee members.Trustees Sherri Raftery and Teresa Lyons had submitted their letters of resignation by Tuesday night’s meeting, after selectmen previously asked them to resign because they failed to notice when a former library employee allegedly stole more than $800,000 from the library.But the three others had not.?We didn’t receive any other letters so we voted to remove them,” said selectman Chairman Scott Crabtree on Wednesday.Read the complete story in Thursday’s Daily Item.Matt Tempesta can be reached at [email protected].
