SAUGUS – Saugus Police released the description of a man who robbed the Eastern Bank at 605 Broadway on Thursday night.According to police reports, the suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 6-feet tall, more than 200 pounds with light skin and a “reddish chin strap beard and mustache.” The report states he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a very large Nike insignia on the front and what appeared to be a dark blue Red Sox baseball hat with a Red Sox logo.Police reports state the man walked into the bank at around 6:25 p.m., approached the counter and handed the teller a note which she described as a “crumbled up piece of paper.”
