REVERE – Revere Police arrested a Revere man Monday night on a charge of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly grabbed his 19-year-old pregnant girlfriend and threatened her with a stun gun, Suffolk District Attorney spokesman Jake Wark said Tuesday.A Chelsea District Court judge released Marcelino Robinson, 20, on personal recognizance, Wark said, denying an assistant district attorney?s requests for $1,000 bail and the bail revocation of Robinson?s open Lynn case. That case involves charges of disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a public employee and resisting arrest.Wark said Revere Police responded to a radio call for an assault at the Robinson?s address at about 7:15 p.m. and found the woman and a relative outside the building. The woman said that Robinson had grabbed her during an argument, prompting her to run to another room. Robinson then allegedly kicked the door to that room down and threatened her with a stun gun.Officers found Robinson inside the home, Wark said, They saw a door hanging off its hinges and recovered the stun gun.Wark said Robinson is due back in Chelsea District Court in March. He is charged with aggravated assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a stun gun.Taylor Provost can be reached at [email protected].
