LYNN – Lynn Police released surveillance photos Friday of a suspect they say robbed the Century Bank on State Street in Lynn Wednesday afternoon.Lt. Christopher Kelly described the suspect as a light-skinned black male wearing charcoal gray sweat pants and a black vest over a gray and black hooded sweatshirt.Kelly said the suspect fled on foot toward the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority garage on Union Street.”We can’t say at this point whether or not he got on any of the trains,” said Kelly.Kelly said the bank has been robbed before, the last robbery taking place in April of 2011.Kelly declined to say how much money was taken or how the suspect robbed the bank.”Early on in the investigation (detectives) don’t like to give out information about the way they conduct the robbery,” said Kelly. “It’s still an ongoing investigation and they don’t want to tip their hand to the potential suspect.
