SAUGUS – Saugus Police are investigating a robbery at the Eastern Bank on Route 1 South that occurred at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.Assitant Police Chief Leonard Campanello described the suspect as a white male, around 5-foot-6 with a medium build wearing a black North Face jacket, gray sweatpants and a bandana around his face, who may have fled in an older-model gold Crown Victoria.Campanello said a cashier at the bank saw something “metal” on the suspect, but he said “no weapon was identified” and the suspect made off with an “undisclosed amount of money.”This is the fourth robbery at that Eastern Bank location since September.
