BEVERLY – Well over 100 girls from throughout the region turned out to audition Tuesday for North Shore Music Theatre’s production of Annie, coming to NSMT’s theatre-in-the-round July 18-29. The lead character as well as orphans are being cast. Those selected will be contacted by the theatre within the next three weeks. The young actress selected for the lead role will rehearse in New York City July 3-8. Those selected in the cast of orphans will rehearse at the Beverly theater on dates from June 29-July 9. Tickets for the show, which will range from $40 to $70, will be on sale beginning April 29.
