LYNN – Lynn Police arrested two women Tuesday night after they allegedly assaulted two people in separate incidents, according to court records.Officers charged Nancy Lopez, 21, of 12 Endicott St., with domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property, and Jessica Greene, 35, of 29 Chase St., with assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to arrest reports for both women.Lopez allegedly slapped her boyfriend repeatedly and kicked a hole in his wall after she saw him sharing a bed with another woman, according to an arrest report. The man told police Lopez entered the home after pushing in a window unit air conditioner and crawling in.Lopez told officers she entered the home “in a fit of anger” after the woman allegedly sent her a text message that said, “Haha, I?m sleeping with him now in your bed,” according to the report.Greene was arrested after she allegedly waved a kitchen knife in her roommate?s face, according to a police report. Police had already been called to the address earlier in the evening for a verbal argument between Greene and a second roommate, according to the report. When the second roommate entered the room, she saw Greene holding the knife to the other woman?s face, saying “Go ahead, hit me,” repeatedly, according to the report. Greene then allegedly pushed one of the women onto a piece of furnitureJudge Ellen Flatley ordered Lopez released on personal recognizance Wednesday in Lynn District Court, and ordered Greene released on $1,000 personal surety, which means she pays if she doesn?t abide by the release terms.Taylor Provost can be reached at [email protected].
