MARBLEHEAD – The Supreme Judicial Court disbarred a Marblehead man last month who admitted to bilking $50,000 from a client, according to a press release from court clerk Maura S. DoyleThe court disbarred James J. Alberino, of 134 Pleasant St. on April 20 after accepting an affidavit of resignation he submitted on April 9.Alberino told the Board of Bar Overseers in his affidavit that while representing a client in the sale of her Brighton home, he wrongfully converted about $50,000 of the proceeds from the sale, and that he had not made restitution to the estate of the now-dead client, according to the release.
