LYNN – A Lynn District Court judge ordered a 21-year-old Lynn man held on $10,000 cash bail after police charged him with the aggravated rape of a 10-year-old New Hampshire girl, according to documents filed in court Tuesday.Lynn Police arrested Justin Jaskiel, of 108 Essex St., Tuesday on a straight warrant for charges of aggravated statutory rape, and indecent assault and battery on a child younger than 14.Jaskiel allegedly followed the girl into a Dunkin Donuts bathroom, and asked her to pull down her pants and let him touch her, according to the arrest report. Before that, the girl told officers in an interview, he had offered her up to $100 to let him touch her during a cookout they were both attending in Lynn on May 28.A witness said he saw the girl exit the bathroom and could see Jaskiel inside “adjusting his pants,” according to the report. When he asked Jaskiel what happened, Jaskiel allegedly said the girl had asked him to enter the bathroom with her and that she “wanted him to do sexual things to her, but he didn’t.”The victim alleged Jaskiel touched her private areas, digitally raped her and then pulled down his pants and made her touch him, according to the report.When the girl’s mother found out about the incident, she immediately left the cookout and took the girl to a Derry, N.H. hospital to be examined, according to the report. Derry Police then notified Lynn Police that the incident had happened in Lynn.Judge Ellen Flatley noted in court documents that Jaskiel faces a mandatory 20-year state prison sentence if convicted.
