REVERE – Revere Police arrested five alleged gang members near Cooledge Street early Thursday morning after callers reported they were smashing the windows of several cars with bricks, according to Revere Police Lt. John Azzari.?Some of the residents heard the destruction going on and yelling in the street,” Azzari said. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m.The five men, who have been identified as members of the “Original Bloods” gang, ran toward Broadway soon after the alleged offenses, but police soon found them and had a witness positively identify them through a “show-up identification.”One of the men, 19-year-old Andrew Pucci, of 58 Shirley Ave., allegedly began threatening the witness, and was charged with intimidation of a witness, rude and disorderly conduct and threats as a result, Azzari said, along with vandalism and destruction of property over $250.Stephen Anthony, 18, of 12 Dix St. #3; Michael Cinelli, 20, of 697 Washington Ave. #2; Christopher Colangelo, 17, of 82 Winthrop Ave #3; and Raymond A. Rais, 20, of 39 Highland St. #1, were all charged with two counts of vandalizing property, destruction of property over $250 and disorderly conduct, Azzari said.It was unclear how many cars the men allegedly damaged, Azzari said, as some people may not have reported it yet. The five men, who are all under age, may also have been drinking. All of the suspects had their bail revoked on unrelated open cases in Chelsea District Court Thursday, except Colangelo, who has no open case, said Suffolk District Attorney spokesperson Jake Wark. In the new case, the men were given bail amounts ranging from $500 to $1,500.All of the men are due back in court Aug. 10.Taylor Provost can be reached at [email protected].
