LYNN – The Brockton Rox pushed across two runs in the top of the 12th inning Friday to defeat the North Shore Navigators, 6-4.The Navs had gotten the first two outs of the inning when the trouble started. Brockton’s Greg Baggett 23 Greg Baggett doubled, and Sean Amaru ran for him.Rhett Wiseman was walked intentionally, and Jordan Berry drew a walk to load the bases.Mike Lupia followed with a single to knock in two runs.The Navigators had a chance to at least tie the game with two out in the bottom of the 12th when Rob Krentzman stroked a double. However, Tony Sernio struck out for the final out.The score was 3-3 going into the ninth inning, but each team scored to tie the game after regulation.The Navigators tied the game when Brad Elwood doubled, and – with two out – Andrew Harris also hit a two-bagger. However, Harris was thrown out trying to steal third.The Navigators are on the road tonight at Martha’s Vineyard. After an off-day Sunday, they’ll be back at it Monday at home against the Torrington, Conn., Titans and again Tuesday against the Nashua Silver Knights.
