It was an eventful day two of Junior Race Week at the Pleon Yacht Club in Marblehead on Tuesday, as the organizers were able to get all 355 sailors present and accounted for just before the lightning appeared.Race results are as follows:In the Optimist class, 69 boats competed and seven races were scored. Leading the standings is Jed Bell (Blue) of Hingham Yacht Club, 21 points; at second and third, respectively, are Nate Tedford (Red), Pleon, 30 points; and Caleb Robinson (Blue), Portland Yacht Club, 37 points.In the Open Bic class, eight boats competed and nine races were scored. Atop the standings is Zack Magee, Eastern Point Yacht Club, 13 points. In second and third, respectively, are Charlie Bushman, Pleon, 26 points; and Brian Digiovanni, Eastern Point, 27.In the Laser class, three boats competed and four races were scored. Leading the standings is Benjamin Cohen, Hull Yacht Club, five points; in second is Erik McCaffrey, Quannapowitt Yacht Club, seven points; and in third is Eric Morrison, Agamenticus Yacht Club, 12 points.In the Laser Radial class, 33 boats competed and four races were scored. Atop the standings is Bryce Andreasen (Smythe), Pleon, nine points; and in second is Matthew Safford (Smythe), also of Pleon, 16 points. In third is Jake Rizika (Smythe), Wianno Yacht Club, 17 points.In the Laser 4.7 class, 10 boats competed and four races were scored. Leading the standings is Nicole Busa, Agamenticus Yacht Club, six points; in second is Kyle Easton, Jubilee Yacht Club, nine points; and in third is Mitchell Busa, Agamenticus Yacht Club, 17 points.In the 420 Green class, there were 35 boats competing and five races scored. Atop the standings with seven points each are the teams of Alden Haverly-Nick Senich (position 1), both of East Bay Sailing, and Michael Houllahan-Michael Yorsz (position 2), both of Winchester Boat Club. Behind them with 12 points each are the teams of Ryan Callori-Katie Rodger (position 3), both of Pleon; and Rachel Foster-Jennifer Casey (position 4), also of Pleon.In the 420 Champ class, there were 45 boats competing and six races scored. Leading the standings are Clayton Sasaki/Anna Morin, Portland Yacht Club, 17 points; in second are Peter Thibodeau/Grace Papp, Annisquam Yacht Club, 21 points; and behind them, tied with 23 points, are Abby Finkenauer/Katie Smith, Stonington Harbor Yacht Club, and Sara Klik (Brenton Cove Racing Team) and Kate Nota (Sail Newport).In the Opti Yellow class, 37 boats competed and seven races have been scored. Atop the standings is Zoe Ting (Blue), SBYC, seven points; in second is Johnny Andrew, Annisquam, 29 points; and in third is Bryce Morales (Blue), Agamenticus Yacht Club, 30 points.In the Opti Purple class, 36 boats competed and eight races were scored.
