LYNN – Police said a man suffered serious head trauma when his motorcycle and a Honda SUV collided outside of a Boston Street Burger King Tuesday evening.”He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious head trauma – he was wearing a helmet,” Lynn Police spokesperson Lt. Christopher Kelly said Wednesday morning.Kelly said Lynn Police, the Lynn Fire Department and ambulances responded to the Burger King at 108 Boston St. at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday.Kelly said it appears a 1998 Honda CR-V operated by Sophia Deurloo was turning into the Burger King parking lot when a Suzuki motorcycle operated by Jorge Reyes, 31, struck the car’s passenger door.There are no charges at this point, and no indication whether drugs, alcohol or excessive speed were involved, although the investigation is ongoing, Kelly said.Reyes was the only individual injured in the event, which Kelly said tied up traffic on Boston Street during rush hour.Massachusetts General Hospital spokesperson Ryan Donovan said Reyes was in good condition Wednesday afternoon.Cyrus Moulton can be reached at [email protected].
