Three Bishop Fenwick football team members were among the six players thrown out from the Fenwick-Northeast game at Northeast on Friday night.”It was just a tackle out of bounds in front of our bench and a few guys were pushing and shoving,” Crusaders coach David Woods said on Sunday. The three Fenwick players ejected were quarterback Fran Hannon; his brother Kevin Hannon; and James Traversey.Asked about the ramifications of the fight from the MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association), Woods said, “It depends on what you got thrown out for. The paperwork is coming (today) from the office. If it’s unsportsmanlike conduct, it’s just that game. If it’s fighting, punching (or something else), it’s two games. It depends on how the officials write it up.”Rich Tenorio can be reached at [email protected].
