LACC Health Fair Saturday at Classical

LYNN – The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) holds its first free community-wide Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Lynn Classical High School, showcasing over 30 health and wellness exhibitors.The fair will include free flu shots, live interactive demos, games and contests for all ages.”The Beantown Jumper Double Dutch Team will headline our interactive demos from 11 a.m. to noon, with a live performance and instructional hour for anyone, kids and adults, who wants to try it,” said LACC Executive Director Leslie Gould. “Who doesn’t like to watch Double Dutch jump rope? I’m always amazed at jumpers’ skills and coordination.”The Beantown Jumpers will not only perform but ask attendees to take a lesson.Also performing live demos and instruction will be United Martial Arts from noon to 12:30 p.m., Belly Dancing from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Karen’s Ballroom Dancing & Fitness from 1:30-2 p.m. and Bootcamp by Higher Ground Fitness from 2-3 p.m.Kids and adults can test their stamina on a 64-foot obstacle course, and kids under 10 can enter a free-throw contest with prizes for the first 20 winners.
