Peabody’s Goulos wins NEC golf open

In their last game they defeated Georgetown, 6-0 with Amanda Shapleigh scoring three goals and Baily Fanikos, Becky Ladd and Maddy Milordi scoring one each. Ditto against Amesbury, Shapleigh had three again and the other three each scored single goals.Goalie Rachel Goodwin had three saves in the shutout.VOLLEYBALLSt. Mary’s 3, Austin Prep 1At Lynn, the Spartans lost the opening set 23-25, but stormed back to take the next three, 25-22, 25- 10, 25-21.”We finally put everything together for a complete game,” St. Mary’s coach Dave Giarusso said. “It was a good win for them.
