BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley says the claim isn’t about millions of dollars, but the memories involved are priceless.
In a civil action filed this week, Coakley claims a wedding videography company scammed dozens of couples by never delivering their video footage or refunds.
The lawsuit seeks recovery of the victims’ wedding footage and about $75,000 in restitution and penalties from a business that operated as SureShot Portraits LLC.
The claim names business owner Jesse J. Clark, his wife Veronica, and an employee of the company that operated in Millbury.
No one answered the listed phone number for the Clarks on Thursday afternoon.
Coakley said Thursday she got 84 complaints, including from Waltham couple Lauren and Ryan Baldner, who say they want their footage back so their future children can see it.
