WINTHROP — State Police reported recovering a body on a Winthrop beach at 4:36 p.m. Thursday, according to a State Police press release Thursday evening.
The body was located at the end of Cottage Park Road, and police had made a tentative identification of the victim at the time of the press release. According to the release, the death does not appear criminal in nature. Police said the investigation remains active and updates will be available as more information is obtained.
