VP resigns, SCTS meeting canceled

SAUGUS – Wednesday night?s Saugus Cable Television Station Board of Directors meeting was canceled after only two members showed up.Chairman Christopher Peatridge and Treasurer Janice Jarosz were the only two board members to appear. Before the meeting, Peatridge announced that Vice President Gini Pariseau resigned.?Having only two members we will not be able to conduct business tonight due to lack of quorum,” said Peatridge.David Cottam and James Ravagno were absent.When asked if he expects attendance to be an issue for the board, Peatridge said he doesn?t “think about hypotheticals.”?Right now we have a resignation which I announced and we?ve had two people out probably because of a work situation ?” said Peatridge. “I can?t forecast beyond that. I would expect that it wouldn?t be, but I have no way of knowing and I cannot guess.”Peatridge said Pariseau didn?t give a reason for her resignation and noted the Board of Selectmen will be notified as soon as possible.Matt Tempesta can be reached at [email protected].
