LYNN – A courtroom outburst led to the arrest of a woman when she scratched an officer and cursed at a judge on Friday morning, according to court documents.At about 10 a.m. Friday, police arrested Lynn resident Rose Colon of 122 Chestnut St., #2 and charged her with disrupting court proceedings, disorderly conduct, threatening to commit a crime, assault and battery on an officer and resisting arrest after Judge Matthew Machera asked her to leave because she would not stop talking, said court documents. A report said when Colon got to the back of the courtroom she said to Machera, “(Expletive) this, I’m leaving,” and told him to “(Expletive) off.”It was unknown why Colon was at the court and apparently was not there on official business.When Machera ordered court officers to place Colon into custody, Colon resisted, “striking and scratching” an officer on the right side of his face “from cheek to chin,” and drawing blood, said a report, and broke his glasses during the struggle. Another document said Colon told the officer, “Let me up and I’ll punch the (expletive) out of you,” and threatened to kill him.While Colon was being handcuffed, the report read that she said she was pregnant, and then said, “I hope I lose my baby so I can sue you.”Colon spent time in lock-up before she was released on personal recognizance.
