LYNN ? Lynn Police are searching for a driver who allegedly drove a car into Goldfish Pond and ran to shore, along with a passenger, abandoning the car in waist-deep water.Lynn Police Lt. James Shorten said a driver drove a red Ford Focus into the pond at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday for unknown reasons and witnesses reported seeing two people get out of the car and run.?The car went into the pond, and the two people in the car got out, hit the shore and started running, and we never saw them,” he said.A tow company pulled the car out.Shorten said police don’t believe anyone was injured during the accident.?No injuries, except they were wet,” he said.Police are also investigating a stabbing that occurred during a fight outside a house party on Kenwood Terrace at about 1 a.m. Saturday.Shorten said a person was stabbed and is recovering with non life-threatening injuries.
