BELMONT — Anne Barcelo was alerted to the chaos outside her home at 6:45 a.m. Friday by a phone call from a friend, also in Belmont.
She looked outside her window onto Fairview Avenue and saw a striking scene—four police cruisers and police officers with bullet-proof vests and carrying shotguns.
“I looked right out my window, and then I locked all my doors,” she said.
At 7:30 a.m., Belmont resident Carol Quinn said a robo call from police came through, warning her and other residents to stay inside as police search for a suspect at large.
Quinn is a close friend of Lynner Rick McGarvey.
