Monday turned out to be a good day on the track and fields for several area schools as the Division 1 and 2 meets were held.Catarina Rocha of Peabody won the girls 2-mile in 10:40.68 to keep up the pace on her remarkable year. Also winning for the Peabody girls was Heather Maclean in the 800 (2:14.04).Other winners were Evan Dombrowski of St. John’s Prep in the shot put (57-6). And Salem’s Ben Sattiewhite won the high jump in 6-02.The top four finishers in each category advance to the all-states next weekend, but two athletes from the Peabody boys team finished by virtue of placing within the Top 15 in the state, despite finishing out of the running in their individual events.In Division 1, placing in the Top 10 were: St. John’s Prep: Dan Sullivan, fifth, shot put (50-1); David Roy, second, discus (150-2) Dombrowski, third, discus (149-11); Nick LaRove, sixth, discus (140-4); and the 4×800 relay team, sixth (140-4); English: Alex Bonitto, discus, seventh (140-0).Peabody boys: 4 x 800 relay, third (9:36.30); 4 x 400, eighth (3:32.01); 4 x 100, fifth (44.09, and qualified); Sam Allen, mile, seventh (5:19.52); Christian Cedullo, 100 hurdles, fifth (15:26, which qualified him); Chris Cennami, 100, third (11:41, which qualified him); Tom Drover, 44 hurdles, ninth (59.53) and 10th in the javelin (148-3); Drew Fossa, mile, fifth (4:28.29); and Tyler O’Shea, discus, 10th (133-6).Peabody girls: Cynthia Aroke, 400 hurdles, seventh (1:07.18); Lauren Barrett, mile, sixth (5:18.45); and Pamela Zabala, shot put, eighth (35-6).In Division 2, Classical’s Steve Sam was second in the discus (152-6). For the girls, Anna Wargo was fifth in the 100 dash (13.18) and Rebecca Potter was fifth in the 200 (27-20).Also, Beverly’s Alex Greco was ninth in the mile (4:32.98). The Panther girls did very well, with Nicole Demars third in the 2-mile (11:39.59), Kendal Davy third in the 100 hurdles (15.35) and the high jump (5-2); Nicole Kersch, discus, fifth (104-50) and Mary Kate Flaherty (ninth at 95-09) and Katie Wheatley (10th, at 94-11) in the discus. They were also seventh in the 4 x 400 (4:16.58) and third in the 4 x 800 (9:46).For the Salem boys, Davont’e Halloway was eighth in the triple jump (6-02) and Jared Louf Woods fifth in the shot put (50-08). The Witches also placed eighth in the 4 x 100 (45-08).DIVISION 3 EASTAt Pembroke High, Peter Hale won the two-mile in 9:26.34 to lead the Swampscott boys to a fourth-place finish with 43 points. Robert Seymour placed second in the shot put (51-3) and Declan McClung ran third in the 400 (50.91). Other Big Blue placers were: Maleek Newsome in the 200 (4th, 23.37), Matt Mahoney in the two-mile (4th, 9:34.59), Zach Blonder in the 100 (5th, 11.8) and Justin Chasse in the shot put (6th, 48-5 1/4).Danvers finished 18th with 20.5 points paced by Joseph Manson’s shot put win with a throw of 54-6. Drew Piazza finished second in the 800 in 1:57.23 while Connor Rollins tied for fifth in the high jump at 5-10.Marblehead’s Conrad Rousseau picked off fourth in the 400 hurdles in 56.67. The Magicians’ Josh Beloff placed seventh in the long jump (19-10) and Andrew Ernst was eighth in the two-mile (9:57.23).Saugus had a fourth-place showing by its 4×100 relay team (45.99). Ryan Clarke placed seventh in the 200 (23.56).On the girls side, Danvers had the top showing among area teams, placing eighth with 32 points. Lexy Bean placed third in the 200 (26.64); Corinne Previte (400, 59.63), Catalina Dominick (two-mile, 11:11.84), Meghan Kellard (shot put, 35-2 1/2) and Devon Walsh (javelin, 114-4) all had fourths; and Angela Calderone (long jump, 16-8) and the 4×100 relay team (51.37) added sixth-place showings.Marblehead racked up 25 points to place ninth, paced by Lily Cummings’ second-place high jump of 5-3. Kelly Roland and Mimi Goetz placed fifth and sixth in the javelin with matching throws of 112-0. Kathleen Huber added a fifth in the 800 (2:25).Swampscott’s Melinda Wilson placed third in discus (113-09) and eighth in the
