The Lynn 16U softball team lost a pair of games on Saturday in the New England tournament, falling to Way (NH) and the Berkshire Force.Against defending New England champion Way, Michaela Hamill pitched well for Lynn, allowing five hits and two walks, and striking out four. Defensive lapses in the final inning resulted in a loss.Sam Holey, Gabbie Kenniston and Hamill each had one hit for Lynn.In the second game, an elimination matchup against Berkshire, Lynn lost via the mercy rule, 12-2. Ivy Martin started that game on the mound for the Lynners.
