LYNN – An elderly city resident was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being struck by a car in a Lewis Street parking lot Wednesday.”The woman at the time of the incident was taken to the hospital and was conscious and alert and with a bloody nose,” Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said Wednesday afternoon. He said the woman’s nose may have been broken, but that appeared to be the extent of the injuries.The accident happened at approximately 10:10 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the Tedeschi’s on Lewis Street. Donnelly said a car appeared to be back into a 73-year-old city woman and said there is no indication from the incident report that the driver was cited for any traffic violation.
