With a rally in the final inning, the North Shore Phillies defeated the Kingston Night Owls, 4-3, to tie their North Shore Baseball League final series at one game apiece at Haverhill Stadium on Wednesday.Down 3-2, Jairo Valdez singled to lead off in the last inning. He stole second, and with one out, Chris Blydell hit an RBI single. Matt Sucharewicz then hit an RBI triple for the go-ahead run.In the bottom of the frame, Mario Padovani came on in relief and got the save, with Ryan Beliveau turning a double play for the win.The next game is tonight at Breed (7:30).Wednesday?s game started with Kingston taking a 3-0 lead on one run in the first and two in the third.In the fifth, however, Kyle Shepard singled, Beliveau walked, Valdez grounded out to advance the runners, Kurtis White walked to load the bases and Blydell hit an RBI single to make it 3-1.In the sixth, Richie Vail hit a leadoff inside-the-park home run to bring the Phillies within 3-2. As it turns out, they were just getting started for their final-inning comeback.
