SAUGUS – Saugus Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms recovered six marijuana plants totaling $25,000 along with several handguns during last Friday?s raid at a home on Lincoln Avenue, according to police records.According to the ATF evidence log obtained from Lynn District Court, police seized a .357 caliber Smith & Wesson, six rounds of .357 ammunition, a Bauer Arms .25 caliber pistol, five rounds of .25 caliber ammunition, a Bryco Arms model 59 9 mm pistol, two rounds of 9 mm ammunition, $2,600 in U.S. Currency, 23 counterfeit $20 bills, one counterfeit $10 bill and two digital scales.Police arrested three men in the early morning raid. Bernard T. Gadson, 23, of 201 Lincoln Ave. and Rahshjeem Benson, 31, of 61 Camden St., Boston, were arrested and each charged with three counts of illegal possession of a firearm, cultivating a class D substance, illegal possession of ammunition and possession of counterfeit bills on Friday at 5:44 a.m.Lynn District Court Judge Mary McCabe ordered Gadson and Benson held on $25,000 bail at their arraignment on Tuesday.The Item previously reported that Jermain Henderson, of 97 Monument St., Medford, was also arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a class D substance. However, records from Lynn District Court state that after running his fingerprints it was determined that the prints belonged to a Ozuma Harris, 21. Harris was subsequently charged with providing a false name at booking and ordered held on $1,000 bail on Tuesday.All three are due back in court on Sept. 27.
