LYNN – A city man will serve two months in a house of corrections after pleading guilty to charges in connection with an April armed robbery and stabbing witnessed by police.Jawade Bell, 30, of 47 Autumn St. #2, pleaded guilty to larceny from a person; and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; on Monday.Chamroeun Honn, 26 at the time of his arrest, of 72 Elm St. #1, was indicted June 12. He was arraigned on July 17 in Salem Superior Court for armed robbery; and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to Essex District Attorney spokesperson Carrie Kimball-Monahan.Prosecutors dropped an armed robbery charge against Bochuven Pich, 18 at the time of his arrest, on May 29, according to court documents. But prosecutors reserved the right to file charges again if new evidence is found, according to Kimball-Monahan.Leroy Davis was also charged with armed robbery in the alleged crime but was not listed as a codefendant in the case, according to Kimball-Monahan, so his status is unclear.Police responded to an argument at a Joyce Street apartment at approximately 11 p.m. April 20. As officers left the call, they reported that four men approached a man carrying his belongings, including a flat-screen television, from the apartment.Police said they saw Bell steal the man’s television and then Honn punch the victim as he cried for help. Officers arrested Bell and Honn at the scene, allegedly finding a knife underneath Honn when they tackled him to the ground. Officers learned the alleged victim had been stabbed, and he was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.Davis and Pich allegedly fled the scene but were later apprehended.Lynn District Court Judge Albert Conlon sentenced Bell to two years in the Essex House of Correction, with 60 days to be served and the balance suspended for 18 months. Conlon also ordered Bell to stay away from and have no contact with the victim; pay determined restitution; and seek employment or enroll in school.Honn returns to Superior Court Oct. 9, according to Kimball-Monahan.
