The English golf team played its best match of the season, and defeated Revere, 46 1/2-25 1/2, at Gannon Thursday. It was the Bulldogs? first win of the year.Bulldog freshman Chris Cole stole the show at No. 7, in his second-ever match against varsity competition. Not only did Cole win his match handily (9-0), he shot the low round of the day as well (39 on the back). Matt Cole (brother of Chris) was impressive in his own right, winning at No. 8 (8-1). The other English winners were: Matt Sencabaugh, No. 1 (7-2); Matt Bruneau, No. 2 (6-3) and Christina Lannon, No. 6 (5-4).
