Harrington Trophy Co. provides the plaques. For the first week, John Curcuru of Gloucester and Brooks Tyrrell of Marblehead won for their performances against Lynn Classical and Danvers, respectively. In Week 2, Connor Sakowich of St. Mary?s ran for more than 200 yards in the Spartans? 63-39 victory over Swampscott; and Rufus Rushins of Bishop Fenwick had a similar strong performance in the Crusaders? victory over Hamilton-Wenham.Week 3?s winners were Rafy Lora of Lynn Tech, who helped the Tigers get their first victory with a win over Greater Lowell; and St. John?s Prep?s Johnathan Thomas, whose electrifying 107-yard interception return put the period on a stellar performance in the Eagles? win at Central Catholic.Thomas suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament in Saturday?s Prep loss to Everett.Last week, Classical?s Brad Scuzzarella led the way in the Rams? first victory of the season, over Salem; and Kyle McGah scored four touchdowns as Lynnfield defeated Amesbury.
