LYNN – Police said the body of a young white adult male was found on Vine Street early Tuesday morning, and officials will be examining the body to determine the cause of death.Police said there were “no obvious signs of foul play.””A civilian called and said he had just gotten back from work and saw him there,” Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly said Tuesday afternoon. “The civilian attempted to wake the guy up and got no response, so he called 911.”Donnelly said police responded to the area outside 54 Vine St. at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday and found a body slumped against the wall. Donnelly described the deceased as a white male in his early to mid-20s. Donnelly said it is not clear exactly when the death occurred. However, he added that the man appeared to have been dead for some time, as rigor mortis had set in.Donnelly said police are not releasing the deceased’s name pending notification of next of kin. He said the district attorney’s office and State Police will assist in completing a toxicology test and determining the cause of death.
