SWAMPSCOTT – Police said three homes on Elmwood Road were robbed Thursday afternoon, while several other daytime break-ins were reported last week near Essex Street.Swampscott Police Sgt. Tim Cassidy said all the break-ins occurred during the daytime.The three break-ins Thursday occurred between approximately 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Elmwood Road. In each case, doors to the homes were kicked in and jewelry, electronics and cash were reported stolen.The breaking and enterings occurred last week on Pine, Essex and Cherry streets, Cassidy said. Police have not made any arrests in connection with the incidents, which remain under investigation, according to Cassidy.Any person with information is encouraged to call Swampscott Police at 781-595-1111.
