NEC cross country all-stars announced

Matt Mahoney of Swampscott took home the Outstanding Runner Award for the boys and Catalina Dominick tof Danvers the girls in Northeastern Conference cross country all-star voting.Coach of the Year honors went to Sean Dunleavy (boys) and Dave Jellerson (girls). Both are from Beverly High School. Danvers took home the Team Sportsmanship Award for both boys and girls.The Northeastern Conference All-Conference boys team includes Mahoney, Drew Fossa, Peabody; A.J. Ernst, Marblehead; Everest Crawford, Gloucester; Ben Braz, Peabody; Marcelo Rocha, Peabody; Chris Rodts, Marblehead, and Campbell Woods, Beverly.The NEC girls all-conference team includes Dominick, Janaya Randall, Marblehead; Abby Walsh, Beverly; Nicole Demars, Beverly; Samantha Allen, Peabody; Lily Roberts, Marblehead; Lauren Barrett, Peabody; and Antonia Pagliuca, Peabody.The NEC boys second team includes Brian McPherson and Anthony Morrissey, Beverly; James Bailey, Danvers; Willy Pierce and Dylan Genovese, Gloucester; Eric Macorri and Elias Bakas, Classical; Tyler Comer and Emmanuel Ezemba, English; Adam Linsky, Jared Kokinos and Nick Carr, Marblehead; Riley Dowd, Alex Greco and Richie Fournier, Peabody, and John Della Russo, Revere.The NEC girls second team includes Julianna Wesley, Maeve Monahan and Keely Higgins, Beverly; Jessica Driscoll and Allison Barker, Danvers; Sabrina Marnoto and Kacie Quinn, Gloucester; Amina Babic, Classical; Sarah Oliver, Paige Ferrucci and Anna Barrell, Marblehead; Sydney May and Julia Merchant, Peabody; Nikki Nelson and Vanessa Puopolo, Revere, and Isabella Kornitsky, Swampscott.
