Cross Country: Peabody, Marblehead excel at all-states

The Peabody boys cross country team finished third in Division 1 Saturday in the all-state cross country championships at Gardner Municipal Golf Course, and the Marblehead boys and girls were both fourth in Division 2.The Tanners finished with a total time of 1:17.35 for an average time of 15:31.Marblehead?s boys had a composite time of 1:18:59, with an average of 15:47.80 while the girls had a total time of 1:34.10, for an average time of 18:50.Peabody?s Drew Fossa (15:05), who finished 17th, was tops among local finishers in Division 1 while Beverly?s Nicole Demars (17:47) was 13th for D1 girls.In Division 2 boys, Swampscott?s Matthew Mahoney (14:51) was seventh to top the Lynn-area field; and Danvers?
