LYNN – A 107 Timson St. resident required treatment for a wrist injury she suffered during a fall while fleeing the burning building Tuesday morning.
District Fire Chief Timothy Collier did not initially identify the woman but said emergency medical workers took her to Union Hospital for treatment to her right wrist.
Firefighters converged on the three-family residence at 7:47 a.m. and extinguished a front porch fire by 8:04 a.m. Collier said fire inspectors are seeking the fire?s cause.
?They?re looking at smoking as a possibility,” he said.
He said the building remains habitable.
