LYNN – A jury found a city man not guilty of a sexual assault charge after a day-long trial last Friday, according to court documents.Samell Abdalla, 45, of 68 Bessom St. #3, was arrested and charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older, stemming from an alleged incident last New Year’s.Jury selection was held last Thursday morning, and testimony began and ended Friday. The jury returned a not guilty verdict that same day, according to court documents.Abdalla’s attorney could not be reached for comment Wednesday afternoon.
