LYNN – Nobody was injured in an alleged drive-by shooting on Goldthwait Street Wednesday night, according to police.Two men in their early 20s and a 20-year-old female were parked on the side of the road in the area of 50 Goldthwait St. at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday when a person or persons in a small black car drove by and fired three shots at the alleged victims, according to Lynn Police Lt. Rick Donnelly.One of the alleged victims reported he or she saw a gun being pointed at them out the window of the suspect car as the suspect drove by and fired, police said. One round hit the alleged victims’ car but nobody was injured, Donnelly reported. He said the alleged victims drove directly to the police station to report the incident, and police subsequently recovered three shell casings from the scene.Donnelly said no arrests have been made in the incident and it remains under investigation. He said police did not know why the incident occurred in that area, which is between Lynn English High School and Western Avenue.
