Beverly woman allegedly stabs boyfriend with knife

PEABODY – Police arrested a 35-year-old Beverly woman after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend multiple times Friday in a domestic incident.Tara E. Hubbard, 35, of 5 Beverly Commons Drive #25, Beverly, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; and malicious destruction of property +$250; at 9:21 p.m. Friday.Police responded to a residence on the 200 block of Newbury Street Friday night on a report of a domestic incident, Peabody Police Lt. Bill Cook said Sunday.The alleged victim, a 43-year-old Peabody resident and Hubbard’s boyfriend, was found stabbed multiple times in the upper body, Cook said. He said the man suffered non-life threatening injuries.The Peabody Police Log said the alleged weapon used was a knife and the alleged victim was taken by ambulance to Union Hospital.Hubbard is expected to be arraigned today in Peabody District Court.
