LYNN – A Dominos pizza driver told police two masked robbers, one armed with a gun and a knife, stole three pizzas from him as he made a delivery Monday afternoon inside a downtown apartment building.
Police responded to 501 Washington St. at 1:15 p.m. and interviewed the driver, who was not hurt. The 27-year-old Iraqi native told the Item he was making a delivery to a third-floor apartment when the men robbed him.
?They said, ?drop the pizza,? took it and ran,” the driver said.
Police Lt. Richard Donnelly said the driver told officers one of the robbers was armed with a knife and a gun and the other robber carried a bat. Donnelly said the driver described the pair as “younger” and told officers the gun-toting robber could have been a woman.
